Tuesday's: twice a month from 10:30am-11:30 am :  Aviata at Oakfield Rehab Center 1465 Oakfield Dr. Brandon, Florida 33511 community Outreach bible study, scripture reading, worship and praise resident.

Tuesday and Thursday- regular week meeting church fellowship hall from 10:00am-2:00pm; bible study, scripture reading and worship. Offering: open discussion on upcoming ministry outreach, discussing today's events and topic, connecting and building new friendship, with other seniors  through fellowship and conversation. Enjoy our movie hour, (group) games, upcoming project arts and crafts, puzzles, bingo hour. Morning light chair exercises and walking. Also enjoy a light lunch that's provided.

 February Black History month:  from 10:30am- 11:30am, (February 12, 2026) African attire community outreach to Hawthrone Center for Rehabilitation and Healing of Brandon 851 W Lumsden Rd, Brandon, Fl 33511

Tuesday January 13, 2026, fellowship hall: kick-started our exercise program for senior includes walking, (20) minutes light seated exercises, breathing stretching, upper and lower body workout, provided by sliver sneaker via video.  

Education: re-enforced: medication management, high blood pressure, heart disease and diabetes, cholesterol and other chronic diseases, monitoring and discussions.

Bay Medical Life Alert: discussion home safety medical alert necklace, smart watch, bracelet or clip on. information provided and discussion at church fellowship hall,10:00am-2:00pm.  between on Thursday January 22, 2026.

Bealsville Community Property (tour). Founded after the civil war by freed slaves from surrounding communities, The 1866 Southern Homestead Act provided  a means for freed slaves to obtain tracts of property ranging from 40 to 160 acres. To retain title, the new owners had to develop homes, clear land and demonstrate that they possessed the eqipment to farm it.

April 21, 2026 : (free) trolley tour ride, service  connecting Historic Ybor City with downtown Tampa and the Channelside district. onboarding  (Ybor City) corner of 8th Ave and 18th Street , Near by parking across the street. Transportation provided via church van 10:00am (Lunch) provided via senior saints ministry Sparkman Wharf featuring a variety of food vendors, relaxing and enjoying views of of the water.

The Senior Saints Ministry is excited to welcome Bankers Life Insurance Company to Greater Bethany on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Representatives will share valuable information about Medicare open enrollment, as well as life and health insurance options. All are welcome to attend and learn more about these important resources.

Outreach Ministry at  Oakfield Health & Rehab Center Our twice-monthly outreach continues on Tuesday, October 7 and Tuesday, October 21, where we’ll join the residents for fellowship, prayer, scripture reading, and praise songs. It’s a beautiful time of connection and encouragement.

Free Clothes Closet – Open to the Community Join us on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM for our Free Clothes Closet event. Gently used clothing and essentials will be available to anyone in need. All are welcome - come and be blessed!

Church Cookout – Fellowship & Fun Also on Saturday, October 25, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, we’re hosting a church cookout for the community. Enjoy good food, great company, and joyful fellowship with the Senior Saints and Greater Bethany family.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month:  In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Greater Bethany Missionary Baptist Church and the Senior Saints Ministry invite everyone to wear pink on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Sundays of October. Let’s stand together in support of women fighting breast cancer and raise awareness in love and unity.

November 18, 2025: Senior Saints donated needed supplies to Oakfield Health and Rehabilitation in care of American Friends of Jamaica (AFJ) Disaster Relief Fund. 

November 20, 2025: Senior Saints donated Clothing to Goodwill industry.

November 22, 2025 : Senior Saints assisted through Greater Bethany Missionary Baptist Church Women's Ministry distributed Thanksgiving food basket to needed families.
